Digger crashes into McDonald's in attempted robbery
Police are investigating a suspected break in at McDonald’s in Limerick, Ireland, after a digger crashed into the restaurant.
A yellow JCB was driven into the side of the Castletroy McDonald’s branch at 2.50 am on Tuesday.
The vehicle was abandoned at the scene after causing considerable damage to the restaurant.
Images showed the yellow digger after it rammed into the restaurant, smashing a window and tearing a hole in building.

Nothing was stolen.
Ireland's Garda is investigating and there have been no reports of any arrests.
