Dinosaur show experience returns to Albany Theatre in Coventry for families to enjoy
The February half-term is soon looming as we reach the end of January and head into February. Families may be looking to find activities to keep the children entertained during the week-long break from Monday, February 17, to Friday, February 21.
For dinosaur fans, Albany Theatre in Earlsdon is once again hosting the Dinosaur World Live show on Sunday, February 16. The show is described as an 'exciting new adventure' and a 'perfect family day out' for everyone.
Visitors will have the chance to 'step back in time' and meet a range of pre-historic dinosaurs, including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, a Giraffatitan, a Microraptor, and a Segnosaurus. There will also be a chance to learn about their history and 'feed them'.

Organisers at Albany Theatre said: "The story is set in an over-grown lab on dinosaur island. Chaos erupts when a satellite tasked with controlling the island's weather systems malfunctions. The island's tropical climate spirals, leading to one big Jurassic storm. If not stopped, it will erase all existence of the island forever. The mission is to find the code hidden deep within the island, reboot the satellite, and save the Dinosaurs before it's too late.
"Children are encouraged to participate, and it’s hard to tell who is having more fun, the kids or their adults? The show has educational and comic elements throughout."
The show will be held on February 16 at 2pm, with a running time of one hour. Tickets are £17 or £20 for the first five rows, which can be purchased via the Albany Theatre website here. For more information about Dinosaur World Live, click here.
