Directioners react to Louis Tomlinson and Danielle Campbell 'split'

Like us, One Direction fans have been shocked over the reports that Louis Tomlinson has split from his long-term girlfriend, Danielle Campbell.

According to The Sun, the pair split last month but are still going to be friends.

And Directioners haven’t taken the news very well. At all.

Reactions have ranged from dismay…

To disbelief…

A touch of sadness…

And some blatant denial.

A source told the paper: “Louis and Danielle have made the decision to split up but they are still going to be mates.

“They’re still talking to each other and there is no bad feeling whatsoever.”

It’s another serving of heartbreak for the star, who lost his beloved mum Johanna in early December, which Danielle supported him through.

The source added: “It’s really sad because Danielle has been there for Louis through this horrible time.

“She has stood by him, remained loyal and continued to be a great support, which is exactly what he needs.

“Sometimes these things just don’t work out and for Louis and Danielle this was the best way forward.”
