Disenchantment trailer: Tease for The Simpsons creator Matt Groening's Netflix series debuts at Comic-con

Another year, another heap of trailers debut at San Diego Comic-Con.

Whilst we were offered a brief glimpse at Matt Groening‘s upcoming Netflix series Disenchantment earlier this year, a full teaser was shown at the fan event, later appearing online.

The show follows a hard-drinking princess named Bean (Abbi Jackson), her elf companion Elfo (Nat Faxon) and personal demon Luci (Eric Andra), as they traverse the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, the trio encountering all sorts of mystical creatures.

Groening has previously spoken about the series, ten episodes of which are heading to Netflix on the 17 August: “Ultimately, Disenchantment will be about life and death, love and sex, and how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots, despite what the elders and wizards and other jerks tell you.”

Other members of the cast include Matt Berry, Noel Fielding, David Herman, Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, Tress MacNeille, Jeny Batten, Rich Fulcher, and Lucy Montgomery. Rough Draft Studios — who worked with Groening on Futurama — will handle animation.

Also at Comic-Con, the trailer for the Unbreakable and Split sequel Glass was shown, as was a lengthy tease for the upcoming season of The Walking Dead. Warner Bros. also debuted trailers for Shazam!, Aquaman, Godzilla 2 and Fantastic Beasts 2. New footage from Wonder Woman 1984 was shown but has not been uploaded online
