Disinfectant Sprayed Outside Hospital as Coronavirus Cases Soar in South Korea

A truck spraying disinfectant was seen outside a hospital in South Korea as authorities battle growing numbers of coronavirus cases in the country.

Videos of trucks spraying disinfectant have recently been appearing on social media from South Korean users as fears over the coronavirus grow. Shoppers were seen forming long queues to purchase face masks on February 25.

The number of confirmed cases of coronavirus rose to 1,146 on February 26, as the Korean Centre for Disease Control announced an additional 169 cases had been diagnosed. 11 people have died in South Korea from the virus, which originated in China. Credit: jiamin9738 via Storyful
