New details have emerged regarding Disneyland's 'Avengers Campus' project.

As reported last week, the House of Mouse's California, Florida, Hong Kong and Paris theme parks are all set to integrate a massive Marvel comic-book-themed area within their grounds.

But before now, we didn't know exactly what that would entail – apart from a few concept drawings released during the D23 Expo.

Posting on Twitter, the Disney D23 official account wrote yesterday (August 25): "Time to assemble to Avengers Campus! A brand-new E ticket attraction is headed to Disney California Adventure, where Guests will fly along with the Avengers and adventure to Wakanda! #D23Expo".

Thanks to the Disney Parks blog, we know that a "key address" titled the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (aka WEB) will house a new Spider-Man experience.

Here, "aspiring inventors are excited to invite you for a test drive of their latest invention: the Web Slinger vehicle, which allows you to sling webs just like Spider-Man".

Alongside this, a new building modelled on the Avengers HQ will be embedded into the park, where visitors might even spot some of Earth's Mightiest Heroes on top of the roof.

Avengers Campus will also include the Pym Test Kitchen, where Ant-Man's "Pym Technologies is using the latest innovations to grow and shrink food".

Mmmmm, giant pizza.

As Disneyland enthusiasts will already be aware, character encounters are a huge part of the theme park experience, and Avengers Campus certainly won't disappoint on that front.

Doctor Strange, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ant-Man and The Wasp, plus heroes from across Asgard and Black Panther's Wakanda will be weaving throughout the grounds, so be sure to keep an eye out.

And lastly (for now), exclusive to the Paris theme park, a new hotel called Disney's Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel will be opening next summer for guests to enjoy.

This will "celebrate 80 years of Marvel art and artists, with more than 300 stunning pieces on display".

Avengers Campus is scheduled to open in 2020, which makes us think those construction workers must've been blasted with superpowers themselves – quick turnaround or what?
