Disney+ is trading its lightsabers and cooking utensils for good old detective work in August, as the new month marks the return of Only Murders in the Building.
The streamer has a few notable additions to its platform over the course of the month, with subscribers also set to enjoy the latest blockbusters and find something fun for the whole family. There's animated series like Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures and Zombies: The Re-Animated Series coming to the service, as well as new National Geographic documentaries like OceanXplorers.

Only Murders in the Building season 4 | 27 August
It's time to get your buddies together to solve a crime and record a podcast about it, or at least get together to enjoy a TV marathon of Only Murders in the Building. The hit series returns with Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez reprising their roles as Charles, Oliver and Mabel and this time they've got more than a few A-list stars to help them.

The amateur podcasters are set to see their story be made into a film but they must reckon with the surprise death of Charles' stunt double at the end of season 3. Unsure who the intended target was the trio must race from Los Angeles to New York City to solve the case.
Who better to help them do so than Meryl Streep, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Melissa McCarthy, Zach Galifianakis and Kumail Nanjiani?
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes | 2 August
The Planet of the Apes didn't end with Caesar's (Andy Serkis) death, far from it as Wes Ball gives it new life in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The fourth film in the reboot franchise centres on Noa (Owen Teague), a young ape who sets out to save his loved ones when they are kidnapped by villain Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand).
During his quest he encounters a human named Nova (Freya Allan) who can still speak, and who is trying to escape Proximus Caesar too. Can human and ape be strong together? Better watch to find out.
Are You Sure?! | 8 August
BTS fans might be sad that several members of the group are now doing their mandatory military service, but in the meantime Jimin and Jung Kook have created a new travel series. Are You Sure?! sees the duo head around the world, taking in the sights and enjoying activities together for a fun, wholesome travel show.
Solar Opposites season 5 | 12 August
Adult animated series Solar Opposites is returning on Disney+ with a brand new season, with the alien family Korvo, Terry, Jesse, and Yumyulack continuing to enjoy life on Earth. The 12-part series will see the quartet begin a new adventure together as a family which culminates in a new Halloween special.
