Diversion warning over closure of main route between Bedworth and Coventry
Motorists are being warned a diversion will be in place during the closure of a main route between Bedworth and Coventry. Part of Blackhorse Road is set to be out of bounds on Saturday (September 28).
The closure will be in place between points 20 metres either side of the crossing. It will run from 11pm on Saturday night until 9am on Sunday morning (September 29).
This is so that railway tamping works can take place on the level crossing. According to Warwickshire County Council's online traffic map, a diversion will be in place.

The access and diversion route will be Blackhorse Road, Ironbridge Way, Grange Road, Oakmoor Road, Longford Road, Foleshill Road, Jimmy Hill Way, Bedworth Bypass, Pickards Way and vice versa.
But the works will not be fully complete this weekend. There is also another proposed closure the following weekend - Saturday, October 5 and Sunday, October 6.
The works will again take place between 11pm on the Saturday night until 9am on the Sunday morning. The same diversion will be in place.
