Yahoo News DJ Chris Evans pulls his trousers down live on This Morning
This Morning took a bit of a bizarre turn earlier today (November 20), as Chris Evans decided to pull his trousers down. As you do.
The radio DJ was speaking to hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby about his motoring festival Carfest when they got on to the subject of running.
However, Phil turned the talk to Chris' injuries, the latter then telling the pair: "Long term gain, short term pain... do you want to see?"
A concerned Holly interjected: "Is it going to make my tummy go?", though Phil noted that their producers "always say yes".
As Chris then got up, he proceeded to undo his trousers, a concerned Phil then exclaiming, "Are you going to take your trousers down?", worrying that his guest would have "teeny pants" on.
Still, after consulting further with the two to check it was OK, Chris pulled his trousers down to reveal cycling shorts (phew), showing the presenters that he had varicose veins on his leg.
Once he'd explained the issue, the DJ admitted: "I don't know how to get my trousers back up!"
Phil and Holly then descended into hysterics as they noted how any viewers who had just tuned-in would be very confused.
Yet viewers at home were slightly shocked by the moment, with one writing: "Well that's a sight, Chris Evans sat on the sofa with his kecks round his ankles".
"Pulling your trousers down on live telly. As you do," another added.
A third person joked: "When you read on Twitter that Chris Evans is stripping and you find out that it's the wrong one..."
