Doctor Foster fans are obsessed by this fridge blunder

Sure, there was revenge sex in last night's (September 19) Doctor Foster, but viewers couldn't stop looking at a fridge.

During the episode, Gemma (Suranne Jones) took a break from basically ruining her son's life to have a nice glass of white wine, leaving her fridge open as she checked her phone.

It was scandalous enough to leave the fridge door open, but a close-up of Gemma necking the wine showed the fridge door miraculously closed, only for it to be open again when she turned back.

And viewers didn't fail to notice the continuity blunder, perhaps only to take their mind off the revenge shagging.

"HOLD UP A MINUTE the fridge was open when she got wine, closed behind her when she looked at her phone then OPEN AGAIN," one viewer noted, with another putting it simply: "Is the fridge f**king open or not?!"
