Doctor Foster series 2 episode 4 teaser sees Kate discover pictures of Gemma on Simon’s phone

A new teaser clip for the penultimate episode of Doctor Foster series two has been released, and it appears to be the turn of Simon’s new wife Katie to be suspicious of his behaviour.

The one and a half minute clip shows the mother-of-one meeting Simon at his work for lunch before trawling through pictures on his phone after he leaves it unattended while out ordering food.

Kate then spots the snap Simon took of Gemma during her drunken night out in Parminster, before stepping away from the phone as her husband returns to the room.

While nothing untoward took place between Simon and Gemma during that evening out, last week’s episode saw the pair get intimate in the family home they once shared.

Viewers were shocked by graphic scenes of the pair having hate-sex in the kitchen, within earshot of their son Tom.

GP Gemma had tried to film herself seducing her ex-husband, but Simon spotted her phone propped up on the kitchen counter.

Later in the programme, Simon and his wife Kate refused Tom entry to their house after it was revealed he had sexually assaulted a friend at a party.

Gemma and Tom then left town, as a for sale sign was put up outside their home and the GP texted her ex-husband to tell him: “You win.”
