Timelords, Bond girls and Inbetweeners stars will be heading to the Kent coast later this year for a celebration of everything pop culture. Sci-Spy Comic Con is due to be held in Herne Bay on Saturday, April 5 and promises plenty of geeky goodness to look forward to.

Taking place within Herne Bay High School in Bullockstone Road between 9.30am and 5pm, a stacked line-up of celebrity guests has been announced for attendees to meet. Doctor Who star Peter Davison, who portrayed the fifth incarnation of the eccentric time traveller, will be joined by Janet Fielding, better known as the Timelord’s companion Tegan Jovanka.

Nicola Bryant, who played another of the Doctor’s companions, is also booked to appear alongside Samuel Anderson, a star in the Peter Capaldi era of the BBC sci-fi series as well as Gavin and Stacey. Bond girls Madeline Smith and Caroline Munro, Inbetweeners star Joe Thomas and The Young Ones’ Christopher Ryan round out the line-up.
