Doctor Who teases what's next for the Doctor & Bill

After tonight's (April 15) Doctor Who series premiere, we're all anticipating the adventures the Doctor has with new companion Bill Potts (Pearl Mackie).

Luckily, we've already got our first taste of what to expect in next week's episode 'Smile', and it looks like the Doctor and Bill will explore "one of Earth's first colonies".

However, despite the emoji robots, all is not as it seems as the people appear to have vanished, with one shot of skulls. Eek.

Tonight's episode saw the introduction of Bill to the Doctor Who universe, and it was a pretty emotional ride for the character as she faced the toil of her crush becoming a water alien.

However, viewers were overall pretty impressed by the series 10 opener, and were equally loving Bill.

This series is also set to see the return of The Master (John Simm), and it looks like he will be getting a pretty big role too.
