Doctor Who viewers disappointed by season finale
Doctor Who aired its series 11 finale tonight, bringing an end to Jodie Whittaker's first season as the 13th incarnation of the Time Lord.
Catchily titled 'The Battle of Ranskoor Av Kolos', the episode saw The Doctor and her companions answer 9 separate distress calls from the war-torn planet, only to come across a familiar foe.
Yes, it was Mr. Toothy Face himself Tim Shaw, who first appeared in the very first episode of the series and was responsible for the death of Graham's wife Grace.
While some fans were worried for Graham as he vowed to avenge his late partner, others were ultimately disappointed that the season finale brought back the villain.
#doctorwho Well that was underwhelming. Never really cared about Tim Shaw in the first place (though he does a better job as the villain in this episode), and the story was weak but was made to seem stronger by never-ending exposition and dropping of sci-fi buzzwords

Tim Shaw was nothing better than meh in the first episode, which was fine because the new doctor was the main focus of the story, but there was absolutely no need to bring him back, especially for the series finale... #DoctorWho

Remember how everyone didn't care about the villain of the episode one because it was en episode centred on the Doctor ? The revelation is the fact is Tim Shaw is big villain.. #DoctorWho

The Doctor will next return to screens for the New Year's Day special, and it looks like Jodie Whittaker could be coming up against the Daleks for the first time.
