Dr Michael Rowe, a chiropractic doctor known for his pain relief tips, suggests the 30-second exercise is one "you can use throughout the day to help clear a stuffy nose."
In a video on Instagram, added: "This exercise requires no equipment (other than maybe a tissue) and can help drain nose and sinus congestion within 30 seconds."
Dr Rowe recommends starting by by taking two fingers on each hand and gently pressing on the side of your nose at the top. Next, use your fingers to slide downwards tracing the outside of your nose all the way towards your nostrils.
He suggests doing this movement around five to 10 times.
"To take this one to the next level, take your index fingers and press right off to the side of your nostrils for a light circular massage," Dr Rowe said. He suggested doing this move for around five to 10 seconds.
He added: "Now I will warn you, that this can quickly unclog to the point where it will be like Niagara Falls so definitely have a tissue ready."
He suggests doing this movement over and over again and you feel like your nose has opened up and you are breathing becomes easier to do.
