Ayesha seems intent on being moody with everyone at The Mill – except for Valerie, who has taken her in over the weekend. Al thinks Ayesha has taken it too far in her attitude to Emma, so he reports last week's events to Mrs Tembe, who in turn explains what has happened to an exasperated Emma.
Mrs Tembe attempts to warn Valerie that Ayesha is in a difficult place, but will Valerie listen? Things come to a head when Valerie and Emma share a joke, but how will Ayesha react?
Meanwhile, over at The Campus, Karen's anger about Rob has dissipated and she's in full worrying mode. Her lack of focus puts her at odds with Sid. Valerie checks in with her and a comment from Jimmi increases her concern for Rob's welfare. She bites the bullet and goes back home, but what she discovers leads to more questions than answers.
Elsewhere, Sid deals with a case of hypersexuality.
