Dog the Bounty Hunter star Beth Chapman is speaking out amid her battle with cancer. She and her husband Duane “Dog” Chapman will reportedly be visiting a church in Bradenton, Florida on Mother’s Day where she will share “a message of hope, faith, and of a Mother’s highest place of honor.”

According to the post on the organization’s Facebook page, this will be her first speaking engagement since being diagnosed with her illness for the second time. She provided an update to local radio station Q105 about her upcoming event.

“Fighting cancer is the toughest battle I’ve ever been in,” she said. “But my faith in God and the love of my family is helping me through. I am so honored to have been asked by Pastors Ralph and Joanne to share my story with their congregation, especially on Mother’s Day.”

Beth was first diagnosed with throat cancer in 2017, which she later beat. Sadly, her illness returned again in November 2018. In April, she was reportedly hospitalized after having difficulty breathing, and was “resting at home” after the incident.

She and her family have remained positive throughout this emotional time. Duane has vowed to keep his wife moving forward no matter what. “I told her the other day I love you so much I’m not gonna let you die,” he said recently. “I have to stay strong.” Beth has also spread hopeful messages, recently posting smiling photos on Instagram.

Beth and Duane will be appearing at the May 12 services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., and it will also be streamed on The Source Church's Facebook page. We can’t wait to hear what inspiring thoughts she has to share.
