Dog café seen on Dragons' Den coming to Cambridge
A dog café featured on Dragons' Den is coming to Cambridge next month. Owners can take their four-legged friend to a pup paw-ty taking over the city's Revolution bar, dedicated to the Golden Retriever.
Organisers Pop+Bark say it will be an "off-lead social experience" for Golden Retrievers, with fun props and Valentine-themed photo opportunities so canines can pose up a storm. And you don't have to have a dog to attend, with Goldie-loving humans also welcome to attend.
While their owners mingle, dogs will find heaps of toys and balls waiting for them and can experience what organisers say is the world's only "Pupuccino Bar". Dog-friendly toppings will include fresh blueberries and peanut butter sprinkles and a range of "pupcakes, dognuts, jammy doggers and pawbons" will also be served.

Pop+Bark creators Anushka Fernando and James Morgan were featured on the 2023 series of BBC business show Dragons' Den, sharing the emotional story of how their beloved pug Bertie's illness was the driving force behind their business.
A spinal operation meant Bertie missed out on vital socialisation with other dogs as a puppy, leading to Anushka organising a pug meet-up in their local park to help him meet some new friends. It was a huge success and they soon decided to move it indoors and hold events themed around different breeds.
They have since taken their brand all over the country to bring together dog lovers, with Golden Retriever Cafés recently taking place in London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Anushka said: “The Golden Retriever Café is a safe, off-lead experience where Golden Retrievers can roam, explore, and play with other Goldies. We are so excited to be coming to Cambridge, a first for us.
"Revolution is a lovely, central location and we look forward to transforming it into a Goldie haven. With heaps of cute photo opportunities, doggy furniture, and props, plus the addition of a cute Valentine’s twist, the event promises to be a recipe for the happiest party ever!
"No January blues here, just cute vibes only."
The event will take place at Revolution in Cambridge on Sunday, February 16 from 11.20am. Tickets must be booked in advance here.
