Dog Cools Off in Kenosha as Heat Index Soars Above 100
Heat indices soared into the 100s in Wisconsin on Tuesday, June 14, as the National Weather Service (NWS) warned residents to limit their time outside amid the hot and humid conditions.
Michelle Corbett took this video as her dog Callie cooled down in Kenosha on Tuesday, she said.
A heat advisory was in effect for Kenosha until 8 pm Wednesday, according to the NWS. The temperatures and humidity forced the cancellation of Kenosha after-school activities, according to local reports.
