An exciting new addition to the west end is set to arrive this week serving up homemade bakes and artisan ice cream.

Crumbs is set to open on Great Western Road on Wednesday, May 29, close to other local favourites such as Loop & Scoop, Cottonrake Bakery, and the newly opened Lagom.

Sister venue to the recently launched La Masa, which opened with great fanfare in Glasgow city centre back in February, Crumbs is a much-anticipated new opening.

Known for its focus on quality ingredients and fresh flavours, La Masa has quickly become a city centre favourite for taco enthusiasts and the team at Crumbs said they are aiming to bring the same dedication to quality and flavour to its new West End location.

Crumbs will feature six unique daily ice cream flavours, including innovative options like Rhubarb & Basil, Crème Brûlée, and Toasted Coconut, with a vegan choice available every day, such as their rich Chocolate & Sea Salt Sorbet.

The team say they are committed to using fresh, seasonal produce, sourced locally, and making everything in-house whenever possible.

Each morning, Crumbs will create ice cream, toasties, soup and bakes on-site, ensuring that every treat is as "mouthwateringly good as it is fresh".

Speaking about the launch, baker Naomi said: "We are excited to bring unique flavours to Great Western Road.

"We saw a gap in the market for something fresh and exciting. Our ice cream, sweet, and savoury bakes are all homemade on-site each day, allowing us to experiment with flavours and serve only the freshest treats."

Naomi also confirmed that dogs are encouraged to visit Crumbs too, adding: "Your four-legged companion can enjoy puppuccinos, dog-friendly ice lollies, and even peanut butter pupcakes, ensuring that well-behaved pups have plenty of tasty options."
