Dog poo stops disgusted Dave, 70, accessing communal garden
An Aspire tenant has been unable to access his communal garden this summer - because of dog poo blocking his way. Dave and Christine Wright live in a top-floor maisonette, on Derwent Place, in Cross Heath, and have a shared garden.
But they say the path to the garden gate has been covered in dog poo. Now Aspire Housing has already taken 'actions' regarding the complaint.
Dave said: “There has been an ongoing problem with dog muck in the garden. I live in a maisonette and I’ve had nothing but trouble. The path is covered in dog muck. I’m 70 years old, I’ve got COPD, and this is causing me serious stress. I like to keep my garden respectable. It’s always been a lovely street. We’re like a family with the other neighbours, but now Aspire is putting younger people in."

StokeonTrentLive has made attempts to contact the other neighbour at the centre of the dispute.
Aspire Housing head of neighbourhoods James Fullford said: "We are aware of an ongoing issue with dog-fouling around Derwent Place and have been working closely with our customers and partner agencies to understand and resolve the issue. Due to the persistent nature of this situation, we have escalated this case through our anti-social behaviour process and will continue to do so until we reach a resolution. Actions have been taken by Aspire Housing and its partner agencies and next steps have been agreed to enforce these actions.
"Aspire Housing has tenancy agreements in place that outline how we expect our customers to maintain homes, gardens and communal spaces. This includes keeping spaces in a tidy and safe condition and keeping pets under proper control and not a nuisance to neighbours or visitors.
"We will continue to work with the customers involved in this matter and will keep them updated with our actions as we work to address this situation. We take anti-social behaviour very seriously and encourage our customers to get in touch with us if they're experiencing any problems in their community."
