Dog Rescued From Flood After Iota Batters Honduras

Rescues and humanitarian-aid deliveries continued apace across Honduras on Thursday, November 19, after Hurricane Iota pummeled Central America and Colombia earlier in the week, causing widespread and devastating flooding.

Footage released Thursday by the country’s fire service shows a rescuer carrying a dog over floodwaters to dry land, and a crew using a small boat to move people to safety.
