Dog walker 'assaulted by group of teens' after challenging them about littering

A man was allegedly attacked by a group of teenagers after he challenged them over littering. The victim was walking his dog through a park at the time of the incident, police have said.

He made comments about littering to a group of young males who are described as being in their late teens. The man was then reportedly assaulted by the group.

Police did not say if the man was left injured following the altercation. The incident happened in Waun Fach Playing Fields in Cardiff at around 8.15pm on Sunday, June 2.

And local police are now appealing for information as they investigate what happened. They have asked any witnesses to come forward as soon as possible, WalesOnline reports.
