Have your say: Should dogs be allowed on beaches all year round?
Every year, as the summer ends, beaches across the UK and in Kent allow dogs to be walked on beaches once more. Throughout many of the summer months, restrictions on pooches are placed along the Kent coast - from limiting the amount of time our four-legged friends can visit or banning them outright.
As restrictions begin to be lifted, KentLive have put together a handy guide on when dogs will be allowed on your local beach. As it stands, restrictions look set to be lifted until April 30, when dogs will once again be restricted for the summer months.
Over in Sussex, Hastings Borough Council are running a public consultation into dog control. The area currently doesn't allow dogs on beaches over the summer months, but this could change to allow dogs all year round.
