Dogs on Netflix: Everything you need to know about the world's cutest dogumentary

Get ready to settle down with a huge 'aww' because Netflix has a cute new series about Dogs coming your way.

The dogumentary titled, er, Dogs, is set to be paws up the best thing on the streaming platform this year, telling six different stories of furry friends from loyal companionship to life-saving support.

So get ready to go into cute overload. Here’s everything you need to know about Dogs:

What are the stories features in Dogs?

A sports-mad 11-year-old called Corrine has her life changed when she meets Rory the golden labradoodle in one episode. Corrine has epilepsy and suffers potentially life-threatening seizures. Rory is trained to bark when Corrine starts to fit.

Another story focuses on Ayham, a 22-year-old who fled war-torn Syria two years ago for a new life in Berlin. But Ayham is still suffering the sadness of having to leave behind husky Zeus, who is is desperately trying to track down through the help of a charity.

Labrador Ice, who is referred to as the “heartbeat” of the family, also takes centre stage, joining his master on his fishing boat and keeping guard on the dock.

A Japanese dog grooming salon sets the scene for another episode, exploring the bond between owner and pet, while a fifth instalment is set in a dog sanctuary in Costa Rica which cared for around 1,200 strays.

Finally, the last episode focuses on Hearts And Bones’ charity mission to collect dogs from a Texas shelter and find them good homes in New York.
