If you hadn't noticed, The Chase is currently taking its usual break on ITV.
Rylan Clark-Neal's new show Babushka is airing in its 5pm slot, and the news was met with an outpouring of grief from The Chase fans – not all of it healthy, as it led to Rylan having to quit Twitter.
It should come as no surprise then, that basically all the fans wanted yesterday (May 1) was for The Chase to be on instead of Babushka, and one TV channel has been very cheeky about the whole situation.
Quiz channel Challenge – on Sky, Freeview, Freesat and Virgin – has started to air repeats of The Chase at, you guessed it, 5pm weekdays in May.
Whether it's enough to appease The Chase fans and stop them abusing Rylan is another question though.
Last week, he revealed on Loose Women that he was "not annoyed" at the internet trolls, but admitted that the reaction to his new show (temporarily) replacing The Chase was "completely out of control".
"Ultimately, I've come off Twitter. It's not because I can't handle it, I felt like I'd gone back five years to when I was on X Factor. The homophobia... everything. I don't need that in my life," Rylan explained.
So it's simple, if you want to see The Chase, then tune into Challenge at 5pm on weekdays throughout May.
And if you don't, then what's the harm in giving Babushka a shot at 5pm weekdays on ITV?
