‘I Don’t Want A Selfie!’ Old People Struggle To Work Camera Phone

Sometimes getting to grips with a smartphone isn’t as easy as five-year-olds make it look.

When you’re a bit older, it can take a bit more time to get the hang of the complicated contraption.

Just ask these British pensioners, who struggled slightly with the workings of a camera phone to the point where they ended up filming a video of themselves deep in discussion about how to take a picture.

In the 60-second video, one pensioner named Barbara and an unnamed male and female try their hardest just to take one snap of a greenhouse on a day out.

However, their simple plan is thwarted by the phone being on both video and selfie mode, meaning their entire conversation and reactions are filmed.

At one point, referring to the greenhouse, Barbara says: “I don’t want a selfie! I want that! Ha!”

Even though they find it difficult to operate the phone, the trio take everything in good humour and have a bit of a laugh while figuring things out. Something all of us should bear in mind the next time we shout at our smartphone because it won’t do what we tell it to do.
