Donald Trump's got the solution to forest fires

As the deadliest wildfire in California's history has killed more than 70, with a further 1,000 missing - US President Donald Trump reckons he's got the solution.

More raking and cleaning.

Speaking on TV during a visit to the state, he dodged questions on whether climate change was to blame - instead pointing at "the floors of the forests".

"I was with the president of Finland and he said, 'We have a much different-we're a forest nation.' He called it a forest nation, and they spent a lot of time on raking and cleaning and doing things," Trump explained.

"And they don't have any problem."

He didn't mention that part of Finland is actually in the Arctic Circle.
