Donald Trump declares he 'hates Taylor Swift'

Donald Trump has declared he "hates Taylor Swift."

The presidential candidate spoke out against the pop star on his Truth Social account. He wrote simply, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT."

His comment comes after Swift officially endorsed Harris last Tuesday, confirming on her Instagram account that she was planning to vote for Harris because "because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them."

She received over nine million "likes" on the post.

Trump had originally dismissed Swift's endorsement of the current Vice President, saying he was "not a Taylor fan."

Harris' campaign was quick to wade in after Trump's blunt statement. Tim Walz, who is Harris' running mate, posted a long statement that included lyrics from over 28 different Taylor Swift songs, including a nod to her album, 1989.

He wrote on X, "Swifties: With your help we're gonna defeat the smallest man who ever lived," in a nod to her song, The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.

He continued, "We're pretty sure it's Safe (& Sound) to say Donald Trump's week has him Down Bad. Mr. Not-at-all Fine has spent this week working through his feelings, whining about his Champagne Problems, and spending exactly none of his time addressing the issues facing the American people."
