Donald Trump has been called a ‘nuclear war maniac’ by North Korea.
Kim Jong-un’s news agency said the US president ‘needs medicine to cure his physical disorder’.
It is the latest verbal attack on Mr Trump by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), the mouthpiece of the North Korean leader.
It follows on from previous insults of the US president in which it called him ‘mentally ill’.
The US and North Korea are locked in an increasingly tense war of words over nuclear weapons.
In its latest personal attack on Mr Trump, KCNA said: ‘He absolutely needs medicine to cure his psychical disorder.’
It accused the US president of wanting to ‘totally destroy North Korea’.
It said Mr Trump is a ‘master of invective’ who spreads ‘bellicose and irresponsible rhetoric’.

The US president has previously warned of ‘fire and fury’ in regards to North Korea, telling the UN General Assembly that the US would ‘totally destroy North Korea’ if it had to defend itself.
In the same speech, he called Kim Jong-un the ‘rocket man’.
Meanwhile, the White House has said Mr Trump will not visit the heavily fortified border between North and South Korea known as the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) during his upcoming trip to Asia.
A senior administration official told reporters during a White House background briefing that there was not enough time in the president’s schedule to accommodate a visit.
The president will be visiting Camp Humphreys, a military base about 40 miles south of Seoul, to highlight the US-South Korean partnership instead.
Every president but one since Ronald Reagan has visited the DMZ, which has separated the North and South for 64 years.
The White House has played down the notion that the hesitance to visit the DMZ stemmed from security concerns, although experts on the region say a visit could have further inflamed tensions.
Mr Trump will depart on Friday for a trip that will take him to Japan, South Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
He will attend several summits, hold a series of meetings and spend time golfing with Japanese president Shinzo Abe.
