Donald Trump's been shouting on Twitter that allegations of collusion with Russia are a witch hunt
US President Donald Trump has made clear his thoughts of suggestions of a collusion between his campaign and Russia, branding them a “witch hunt” in no uncertain terms on Twitter.
Mr Trump posted a series of tweets referring to the allegations, including one quoting legal analyst Jonathan Turley and another quoting Judge Ken Starr, as well as a third with just two words: “WITCH HUNT!”.
The tweets are not the first time the President has denied collusion between his campaign and Russia, dismissing any probe into the relationship between the two.

“We’ve seen NO EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION….I have seen nothing, the firing of James Comey and all of the aftermath, that suggests that the President has obstructed justice because he’s exercising his power as the President of the U.S. I just don’t see it.” Judge Ken Starr

“I’ve been skeptical about the collusion and obstruction claims for the last year. I just don’t see the evidence….in terms of the collusion, it’s all a bit implausible based on the evidence we have.” Jonathan Turley on @FoxNews

Mr Trumps outburst comes after House Intelligence Committee Democrats released a memo defending the investigation into alleged links between the Trump campaign and Russia.
Republicans say Democrats failed to declare that research in the document that supported a surveillance warrant on a former Trump adviser was funded by Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the Democratic National Convention.
