Don't Hit the Arm: Victim Left Red-Faced After Crafty Prank

An Australian man pulled off a clever prank on April 1, leaving his friend red-faced before posting footage on on his TikTok account.

In the footage, Emilio Khatis of New South Wales can be heard giving instructions to one of his friends regarding a challenge whereby the participant must duck below another person’s forearm ten times.

The participant must then repeat the challenge with their eyes closed, before realizing that the forearm has been taken away, leaving the victim pulling some rather peculiar moves, much to everybody else’s bemusement.

Khatis, who goes by @emiliokhatis on TikTok, told Storyful that the group of friends decided to have some fun by playing a practical joke on their unsuspecting friend after the prankster’s mother lost her job due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said, "It was an extremely depressing moment knowing times were becoming tough, reflecting the terrible period associated with COVID-19 we are currently going through. It was not healthy to sit indoors all day feeling sorry for ourselves when there are so many people in less fortunate conditions around the world.

He added, “We cheered one another up with riddles and pranks. I remembered a prank I came up with when I was 13-years-old in high school. We laughed for hours. I posted the video with the intent of cheering people up around the word.” Credit: Emilio Khatis via Storyful
