Times are tough for Trump supporters. Well, not as tough as being separated from your children, but you know…

If you work in the biz and are pro-Trump, you’re probably in a minority. In fact, even if you pose with an alleged Trump supporter, fans are going to come for you.

Chrissy Teigen was simply doing her job as the co-host of Lip Sync Battle when she posed with Shania Twain on the show’s Twain-themed night on Thursday.

Now, Teigen’s fans are leaving comments calling out the model and actress on her Instagram post.

Many of Teigen’s fans are confused as to why she would be so willing to pose with the iconic country singer; Teigen is well known for her tweets against Trump, and Shania Twain revealed in an interview in April that if she were an American citizen, she would have voted for Trump.

At the time, Twain said, “I would have voted for [Trump] because, even though he was offensive, he seemed honest. Do you want straight or polite? Not that you shouldn’t be able to have both. If I were voting, I just don’t want bulls***. I would have voted for a feeling that it was transparent. And politics has a reputation of not being that, right?”

Soon after, she apologized, saying on Twitter, “I am passionately against discrimination of any kind and hope it’s clear from the choices I have made, and the people I stand with, that I do not hold any common moral beliefs with the current president.”

Comments on Teigen’s post included, “You can have her back Canada, Shania Twain is done” and “You know she likes Trump, don’t you? Eww…”

Teigen and her husband, John Legend, are friends with Kanye West — so they have had their fair share of socializing with someone who faced backlash over their alleged support of Trump.
