Don't look down! Russian model dangles from 1,000ft skyscraper then posts video on Instagram
Forget the humble bathroom selfie, these days Instagram users are going to extreme lengths to have their pictures go viral – as these jaw-dropping images show.
Russian glamour model Viki Odintsova, 23, posed for a death-defying photoshoot on a narrow ledge near the top of one of the world’s tallest skyscrapers.
The brave beauty leaned out into thin air – held only by the hand of a male assistant – from Dubai’s 1,004ft Cayan Tower.
She first leant backwards over the huge drop, then climbed slowly down onto the ledge before dangling free in the air from the arm of her bearded helper.

Ms Odintsova – who has more than three million followers on social media and was branded the best thing to come out of Russia since vodka by Maxim magazine – admitted that she was a bit nervous.
The St Petersburg-based beauty said: “I still cannot believe that I did it. Every time I watch this video, my palms get sweaty.”
She posted the video on her social media page where it quickly went viral, prompting many of her fans to criticise her for performing the stunt without any safety equipment.
They pointed out that she would not have had a chance of surviving if anything had gone wrong.
One commenter said: “How can you disregard your life like that? If I was your parent I would smack both you and the guy with the beard!”, while another added: “”Retarded people! Ready for whatever for ‘likes’!”
Other users accused her of copying another beautiful young Russian, Angelina Nikolau, 23, who has made headlines around the world with her dangerous selfies taken on top of skyscrapers and other high structures.
The Cayan Tower was the world’s tallest high-rise building with a 90-degree twist when it opened in 2013, although this record has since been beaten by the Shanghai Tower.
