Doors Fly Open, Lights Flicker as Tornado Moves Through Columbus

A tornado touched down in Columbus, Mississippi, on the evening of Saturday, February 23, reportedly causing damage to properties.

Local media reported possible injuries.

In this video, people sheltering in a gas station run for cover when high winds blow the doors open open. Lights in the station then start flickering and going out.

Meteorologists warned of high winds and possible flooding and said debris was lifted at a rate consistent with a “strong” tornado.
