Dothan youth baseball league not returning for 2024 season

DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) – The City of Dothan has announced the Dothan Southern League has canceled its upcoming season.

In a release, the City of Dothan Athletic Director, Jyssica Curenton, attributed the decision to cancel the 2024 season to the declining participation numbers over the past years.

This decision, made with considerable difficulty, aims to uphold a fair and competitive environment for all Dothan Dixie Youth Baseball participants.
