Double-jabbed arrivals from US and EU won't have to isolate

Fully vaccinated people from the US and EU can now travel to the UK without quarantining. The new rule change came into effect today. Although people will still need to meet UK’s testing requirements which includes a Covid test pre-departure and a PCR test second day after arriving. The exemption from isolation also applies to Norway, Iceland Switzerland, Lichtenstein, Monaco, Andorra and Vatican City. The UK government hoped the change would help reunited loved ones living abroad. Those returning from France will still need to quarantine regardless on being vaccinated. Exemptions also do not apply to any country added to the UK’s red travel list. .
