Double stabbing in Birmingham as men 'dragged from vehicle and robbed'

Two men were stabbed in a horrific attack in Birmingham in the early hours of this morning. Police said the victims were 'dragged from a vehicle, then attacked and robbed.'

West Midlands Police are investigating after the shocking incident on George Street, near the play park in Balsall Heath, at around 5.20am, today, Sunday, August 4. The pair were taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.

Pictures on social media show two small silver police tents set up at the site with a cordon surrounding it. No arrests have been made. Inquiries continue and anyone with any information is urged to contact the police.

A police spokesman told BirminghamLive: "We're investigating after two men were stabbed in George Street, Birmingham, just before 5.20am today (4 August). They were taken to hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
