Aussie export Doughtnut Time is expanding their doughnut empire to the pretty streets of west London this month and to celebrate they're giving away 1,500 free rings of cakey joy.

The two-hour giveaway will take place on Saturday January 27, and will see carb-loving Londoners fight to the death for one of the 1,500 freebies.

The very Instagrammable bright green shop is just next door to the infamous Notting Hill Bookshop, immortalised in 1999 rom-com Notting Hill.

Owing to its Hollywood connections, Doughnut Time creators have teamed up with GBBO finalist Steven Carter-Bailey to create the Anna Scott (Julia Roberts' character in the film, to jog your memory), a delectable limited-edition brownie stuffed heavenly psychedelic mashup of chocolate epicness filled with a dark chocolate glaze, milk chocolate drizzle and curls.

All we can say is that this is one giveaway you Dough-nut want to miss out on.

If the temptation of free doughnuts sounds right up your street, head to Doughnut Time's brand new Notting Hill branch on on Saturday 27th January at 15 Blenheim Crescent for free dough between 12pm and 2pm, doughnuttime.co.uk
