Downey Jr bought entire Avengers crew personal gifts

After almost an entire year of filming, production on Avengers: Infinity War and its untitled sequel has finally wrapped, and as you'd expect from the biggest film of all time, people are marking the occasion in lavish ways.

First of all there was that absolutely ginormous cake (which obviously spawned a host of fan theories), and now Robert Downey Jr has only gone and got every single crew member their own chair!

Patrick Istorico, who worked as a grip on the upcoming superhero battle royale, posted photos on Instagram of Downey's personalised gifts:

"Robert Downey Jr. went for it and got the entire crew personalized cast chairs. Out of control. #infinitywar #marvel@robertdowneyjr Thank you!!!" he wrote.

Each chair has a small plaque on it, engraved with the Stark Industries logo, the actor's signature and a drawing of Iron Man. It reads: "Heart felt thanx from the center of my arc reactor."

While we would absolutely treasure a gift like this until the end of time, the spelling sticklers in us just can't get over the fact he's used 'thanx'.

Infinity War will see basically all of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's heroes battle against the powerful Thanos, and while we don't know what the fourth film will be about, we've got a feeling not everyone is going to survive.

Avengers: Infinity War finally arrives in cinemas on April 27, 2018.
