Calling all ‘Downton Abbey’ fans, you can now spend the night at the television series’ famous setting, Highclere Castle, for just £150 all thanks to Airbnb.

On November 26, the 17th century estate will open its doors for the first time offering guests the rare chance to “live like the Lord or Lady of a stately home”.

Nestled in 1,000 acres of countryside near the town of Newbury, the 300-room property is steeped in history and the current residents, the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon, will wine and dine lucky visitors for one night only.

Treating guests as though they’re members of the Crawley family, a cocktail party will take place in the saloon on the evening before a traditional three-course dinner is served up in the State Dining Room.
