Downton Abbey star Jessica Brown Findlay married Ziggy Heath in a secret wedding last weekend. The couple tied the knot at a London church, before travelling on a private routemaster bus.
The actress, who played Lady Sybil Crawley on the popular series, shared a number of images of the wedding, including a sweet shot of the two embracing following the ceremony. "♥️ wins every time," she wrote underneath the picture. "A weekend of dreams. Small celebrations felt HUGE. And now what a birthday! X I love you."
She also posted multiple pictures to Instagram Stories, one of which showed Heath carrying his wife in his arms outside the church, while another showed the newlyweds inside giving a clearer look at her dress - a high-neck, floor-length white gown that cinched in at the waist to give way to a voluminous skirt. The style featured elegant applique and sheer detailing.
Brown Findlay and Heath met in 2017 on the set of period drama Harlots. Her actor friends were quick to share their well wishes on social media - Downton star Lily James commented underneath her Instagram post: "Wow wow wow, congratulations, so happy for you 💘💘💘💘💘"
Harlots actress Pippa Bennett Warner said simply, "Love you both."
Brown Findlay joins a host of celebrities who have refused to let the pandemic get in the way of their wedding plans, from Princess Beatrice and Cressida Bonas to Lily Allen, who got married in Vegas wearing Dior.
