Dozens Killed in Flores Island Flash Floods and Landslides

Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency said on April 5 that at least 44 people died in flash flooding and landslides that hit the island of Flores the day before.

The National Disaster Management Agency statement said that 26 people were still missing and nine others were injured. Additionally, 17 houses were said to have been washed away, while 60 others were submerged in mud.
