Dozens Missing as 2 Buses Swept Into River by Landslide in Central Nepal
Over 60 people were reported missing after two passenger buses were swept into a river by a landslide in central Nepal on Friday morning, July 12.
The footage here, released by the Nepali Army, shows rescue operations along the Trishuli River. The army said the incident happened along the Narayangadh-Muglin Highway, near Bharatpur in the Chitwan District.
According to The Himalayan Times, around 65 passengers were traveling on the two buses. Three passengers on one of the buses were able to escape, they said. Credit: Nepali Army via Storyful
