Dozens of people push car away from fire engine access after residential building catches fire in China

Dozens of people pushed cars aside to clear the way for fire engines after a 30-storey residential building caught fire in southern China's Chongqing on New Year's Day. In the video, the building was engulfed by huge flames after the fire spread from the first floor to the top. A balcony on the first floor of the residential building caught fire and it spread to the 29th floor. Fire engines can be seen parked on the side of a road and a man was heard saying: "The fire engines cannot approach the building, they are all blocked outside the residential community." Another clip shows a group of people managing to lift a car out of the way to clear the road for the fire engines. Eventually, the fire was put out and no casualties were reported. The cause is being investigated, according to reports.
