Dozens of Police Officers March Through Moscow Streets as Navalny Protests Continue

Thousands of protesters took to the streets across Russia on January 31 to call for the release of jailed opposition leader Alexei Navalny, the Moscow Times reported.

Navalny’s organization called for the nationwide protests. It said protests were planned in more than 30 towns and cities across the country.

AFP reported just after 1pm local time in Moscow that more than 500 people had been detained by police across Russia.
