At least 30 vehicles – 18 cars and 12 semi-trucks – were involved in a pileup amid foggy conditions on Interstate 90 in central Washington on Wednesday, December 7, according to police and transport officials.
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) said the crash happened on eastbound lanes of I-90 around milepost 115, near Kittitas and Ellensburg.
The WSDOT expected road closures to last 10 to 12 hours, according to the Washington State Patrol.
