Dozens of Virginia Voters Take to Polls on First Day of Early Voting
Dozens of voters headed to the polls in Richmond, Virginia, on Friday, September 20, the first day of early voting in the state.
The City of Richmond’s Office of Elections showed their polling station in footage posted to social media. In the video, dozens of voters can be seen lined up to cast their votes for the upcoming US presidential election.
The Office of Elections is the first location to receive early voters in Richmond, welcoming voters every day through November 2, from 8:30 am to 5 pm. Two more locations were set to open in the city between October 7 and November 2.
