Dozens of Whimsical Kites Drift in the Skies Above Berlin During Drachenfest

A multitude of colorful kites could be seen above the Tempelhofer Feld in Berlin on Saturday, September 22, during the Drachenfest kite-flying festival.

Among the kite designs on display were dragons, octopuses and even colorful commercial characters like the M&Ms, as seen in this footage.

According to a report from Berliner Zeitung, at least 100 kites were present above the field, and the event attracted an estimated 70 to 80 kite handlers, several of which came from abroad to participate. Credit: aj_bepeace via Storyful
