Dr Michael Mosley was working on bringing a new TV show to the air before he went missing on holiday. The 67-year-old TV doctor, who featured regularly on This Morning, was having his popular podcast Just One Thing adapted for television.

The hit Radio 4 show and BBC Sounds podcast, which delves into how a single change can significantly impact your health, was greenlit for a TV adaptation by BBC Two. In the show, Dr Mosley was expected to journey across the UK in search of straightforward methods for people to enhance their wellbeing.

The show was due to air later this year, with filming said to be taking place across the UK including in the Lake District, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and North Wales. It is not known if any episodes had already been filmed before the TV doctor's tragic disappearance on the Greek island of Symi.

Production of ten 30-minute episodes had been greenlit by the BBC. A body was found on Sunday morning as the search for Dr Mosley continued.

The body was discovered under a fence by a bar near Agia Marina by camera crews filming on the island. A major search was launched on the tiny Greek island of Symi on Wednesday after Dr Mosley disappeared after going for a walk.

Reports suggest he had left his wife Clare and friends on a beach to go for a walk, but never returned. He had left his mobile phone behind.
